This display stand is made from leftover oak pieces from other projects. We carefully join strips of oak at the corners so the wood grain flows smoothly around the whole stand.

Like the earlier tray, the stand is coloured black using a special process that brings out the natural patterns in the wood. We use iron acetate to react with the oak, creating a deep black colour that shows off the wood's unique features.

We finish the stand with a protective matt wax coating that makes it durable while keeping the wood's natural feel. This creates a simple but elegant platform that's perfect for displaying ceramics.

The stand is designed to highlight whatever is placed on it, while its clean lines and natural wood patterns add subtle beauty without drawing attention away from the displayed pieces.
