Some projects stay with you for years. Though I can't recall where I first encountered these simple trays, their concept has captivated me in an unexpected way. A square of wood, carved into a simple tray—it embodies the essence of a beautiful everyday object.

While I would change almost every aspect of how I made this one, I'm keen to try another.
